Winter in Nepal usually starts from December to February as the weather remains cool and mostly clear. The mornings and nights are usually cold and dry but the afternoons get pretty sunny. The mountain sceneries during is quite superb. The lodges on the trek provide good basic facilities, though not luxury and offer continental and Nepali foods which you can choose from an a la carte menu. After Pokhara we drive to Chitwan national park, situated at a lowland Terai and stay in an safari resort in the park .There you will enjoy elephant back safari , bird watching , canoe ride , elephant breeding centre visit ( can see several baby elephants too),observe elephant bathing program etc..
