Before he left physical body the Guru gave some of his powers to a few disciples. On the day he departed his physical body by his own wish, a number of people gathered around him at the place where he habitually meditated. The Guru left his body after bidding goodbye to his disciples and other followers. His favourite cow also died at the same instant, and then the rest of the cows miraculously disappeared within a few days. There are also accounts of cows emptying their milk by themselves every day at the same time, at the place where the Guru died. Swargadwari is counted among Nepal's top pilgrimage sitesand is listed in a national inventory of cultural and historic heritage sites. As of 2009, a cable car to the temple complex was under construction.
It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. After breakfast at hotel, a guided sightseeing tour begins in Kathmandu valley which includes Pashupatinath, the most sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Hindu God Shiva. Built before 400AD, it is the largest temple complex in Nepal. All the dying persons are brought here for cremation. It is believed by Hindus that dying and cremating in the temple complex will be released from the cycle of rebirths and attained Nirvana. Only the Hindus are allowed to go inside.
After having the breakfast, transfer from Kathmandu to Gorahi which takes about 7 to 8 hours driving distance to reach in Gorahi. Overnight stay in Gorahi.
In the morning after the breakfast, walking up to the hills to Swargadawari temple will be fascinating experience for you. On the way is a beautiful village called “Masina Gaun “where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings view of Himalayas while taking rest. After a lunch, walk up to the Swargadawari enjoying the views of the Dang valley. It takes about full day to reach swargadawari. Evening “Satsang Program” with the motivating experience and overnight stay at “Ashram”
In the morning, you will be have a pray or do Special Puja. After a pray, back to Ghorahi. Fast Walker will see the Ghorahi Bazaar and all other places to visit in the same day. Overnight stay at hotel in Ghorahi.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu or your desire pilgrimage places like Lumbini, Ridi, Rurukschetra, Pokhara, Chitwan, Devghat. Overnight at hotel.
