The temple is situated on a high mountain range and one can visit the temple in the summer. During the festival of Janai Purnima, Hindu devotees gather here to pay homage to Muktinath temple. Another famous temple of Jwaladevi, the goddess of flame, is situated about hundred meters south of Muktinath. There are many monasteries and Gompa around the Muktinath temple. Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International airport, you will be greeted by Abha Travel & Tours representative and transferred to hotel. After check in, you can either take a rest or hang around in the city depending on your interest and time constraint. In the late evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion, introducing with your Tour guide. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions related to the tour program.Then, you will be visiting Pashupatinath temple for Aarati Darshan & back to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today after breakfast we start a guided sightseeing tours accompanied by our English speaking city guide in Kathmandu. You will visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath Buddhist shirnes- Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. En-route lunch. After lunch we visit Jaal Narayan Popularly known as Budhanilkatha about 12km north of Central Kathmandu at the foothills of Shivapuri. Here, you will see the largest Vishnu lying on a coiled five headed serpent carved in a single store. This outstanding stone carved art work belongs to Lichhavi period some 1500 years ago.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
After early breakfast we will drive you to Pokhara (200km). En route we will stop at Kurintar and take a cable car to Manakamana temple situated at the hilltop. The deity is one of the manifestations of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati who is believed to have the power to fulfill wishes. It is considered one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in Nepal. After lunch we will continue our drive and ultimately we reach Pokhara in the late afternoon. Pokhara is a tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe Himalayan mountain views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the south. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Fly Pokhara to Jomsom and drive to/from Muktinath
After breakfast in hotel you will be transferred to Pokhara domestic airport .Then you will make approx. 35 minutes flight to Jomsom and drive to Muktinath by Jeep (1.30 hrs) along the Kaligandaki river. Muktinath is god of Salvation; it holds a great significance for all spiritual people especially Hindus and Buddhists of South Asia. Muktinath has been one such holy site, where thousands of devotees flock for attaining the much sought after moksha, have holy bath on 108 chilled waterspouts and Mukti Kunda (2 Kunda in front of the temple). It is believed taking holy bath brings salvation. After worshipping in the Muktinath Temple we walk to Jwalamai Temple and drive back to Jomsom by Jeep (2.30 hrs) Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara & sightseeing
Early morning breakfast and transfer to Jomsom airport. Then we fly back to Pokhara and transfer to hotel. After a couple of hours relaxation in hotel we begin Pokhara valley sightseeing which covers all major places of tourist interest such as Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Barahi temple, Mahendra Cave and Mahendra Pul to view the underground Seti River, Bindabasini temple. Boating on Pehwa Lake for one hour in the late afternoon then transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu
After breakfast in hotel we drive back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our representatives and will be transferred to hotel. Rest of the day you can explore Kathmandu, shopping for souvenirs or try any of our extra tour options such as the Everest Mountain flight. In the evening, you will enjoy delicious dinner with the whole group at one of Kathmandu’s local Nepalese restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel after a beautiful evening.
Day 07: Departure
Our representatives will be waiting at the hotel lobby in the morning after you have your breakfast. You will be transferred to the international airport in time for your onward flight journey
